At the Wayzata Plastic Surgery Center, we realize that you have a choice when selecting a plastic surgeon to perform your surgery. Our goal is to help our patients make an informed decision about their surgery. Below is a list of some of our most commonly asked questions and answers.

1. How do I choose a surgeon?

It is essential that your surgeon be board certified. Dr. Vogt is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada. Dr. Vogt is currently a member of many prestigious professional organizations, including, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (www.plasticsurgery.org) and is a past-president of the Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgeons.

2. Why choose Wayzata Plastic Surgery Center?

Dr. Vogt has been practicing as a board certified plastic surgeon for over 30 years. Along with our staff, who have a combined total of over 70 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery we have credibility and experience. Our patients enjoy the way they look and feel after their cosmetic surgery, as is evident by how many of them return for another procedure.

3. What is my first step?

Call us to schedule a complimentary consultation and begin the journey of discovering the “Secret to a New You”. Following your consultation with Dr. Vogt, you will meet with our scheduling coordinator to discuss the fees for your surgery and to schedule a date of surgery.

4. Where will my surgery be performed?

The surgery will take place in our office-based surgery center, located in Wayzata. We are certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities, a voluntary program of inspection and accreditation of surgery facilities with the goal of improving patient safety and care.

5. What type of anesthesia is used?

Most surgeries are performed under general anesthesia, which means, you will be asleep. The Wayzata Plastic Surgery Center is proud to provide our patients with the best care possible. Your anesthetic will be administered by a Board Certified Medical Doctor of Anesthesiology, who will be in the operating room during your surgery to monitor your comfort and safety.

6. What is my recovery time?

Recovery time will depend on the type of procedure you are having and on each individual patient. Dr. Vogt will discuss your recovery time with you at the time of your consultation.

7. What other services do you offer?

The Medical Spa at Wayzata Plastic Surgery Center offers a full range of non-surgical procedures, including: Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, microdermabrasion, IPL-Photofacial, Laser hair removal, SkinTyte, peels and facials. We also carry a number of skin care lines, some of which include: Skin Medica, IS Clinical, and Obagi.

8. What type of payment do you accept?

We accept check, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Care Credit.
